At the same time, the new project &#8220;The Tapir Barn&#8221; will be officially inaugurated. In 1983, the ethnology student Bodo Rengshausen-Fischbach founded the company Tapir Wachswaren in Dassel-Amelsen. In an old farm on the village square, the first leather care products were created according to traditional manufacturing methods in the laundry room of the outbuilding.
